April Scripture Writing Plan: 30 Days of Abiding in Christ
Draw closer to Jesus with this April Scripture writing plan focused on abiding in Christ. Write, reflect, and grow in faith with these daily verses.

When life brings uncertainty, stress, or deep heartache, where do you turn? For me, abiding in Christ has been the foundation of my faith—especially during seasons of waiting, wondering, and trusting.
My husband and I struggled with unexplained secondary infertility for over 10 years. It was a difficult, emotional journey that forced me to rely fully on God’s plan, even when I couldn’t understand it. I had to learn to abide in Christ—to rest in His goodness, to trust His timing, and to find peace in His presence.
This month, I invite you to reflect on what it truly means to abide in Christ through a 30-day Scripture writing plan filled with Bible verses on abiding, trust, and perseverance.
As we step into a new season, it’s a wonderful time to slow down and refocus on our relationship with Christ. One of the most beautiful truths in Scripture is that we are not meant to navigate life on our own—we are called to abide in Christ.
But what does it really mean to abide in Him?
Jesus tells us in John 15:4 (KJV):
“Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.”
To abide means to remain, dwell, and stay connected to Jesus, just as a branch remains connected to a vine. When we stay close to Him, our lives produce spiritual fruit—peace, joy, faithfulness, and a heart that reflects His love. But when we drift away, we become like a branch that withers.
This April, I invite you to join me in writing and meditating on Scriptures that teach us what it means to abide in Christ.

What is Scripture Writing?
Scripture writing is a simple yet powerful way to grow spiritually. Instead of just reading a verse and moving on, writing it out helps us:
✔ Slow down and really take in God’s Word.
✔ Remember and meditate on what He is teaching us.
✔ Strengthen our faith as we reflect on His truth.
Each day, you’ll write one verse, taking a few quiet moments to let the words settle into your heart. You might also want to journal your thoughts or write a short prayer in response.

How to Get the Most Out of This Scripture Writing Plan
1. Set Aside a Quiet Time
Find a time each day—whether morning, lunch break, or evening—to pause and focus on Scripture.
2. Write Each Verse by Hand
Something special happens when we slow down and write Scripture—it helps us remember and absorb it more deeply.
3. Reflect on What It Means for Your Life
Ask yourself:
- What is God teaching me in this verse?
- How can I apply this truth to my day?
- What is one step I can take to abide in Christ more?
4. Pray Over What You’ve Read
Turn each verse into a prayer, asking God to help you live out His Word.
