How to Make Peppermint Sugar Scrub Body Polish
This peppermint sugar scrub is so easy to whip up, and that makes it a perfect last minute gift for that “hard to buy for” someone on your list!
I made this peppermint sugar scrub YEARS ago, and was absolutely AMAZED at how soft it left my hands and feet. I’ve basically been an addict since then. It is seriously so easy to throw together, and I would NOT be mad if it were in my gift basket this year…maybe I’ll just make some for myself. 😉
It makes a really wonderful gift as is, but pair it with a cozy pair of socks, and some lotion, and you’ve got yourself a hard to beat gift basket.
All you need to make this peppermint sugar scrub is…
- 1 cup coconut oil
- 1 1/4 sugar
- 12 drops peppermint essential oil
- Jar for gifting
- The FREE printable tag included below & some ribbon!
Instructions
- Mix sugar and coconut oil in a bowl. Add drops of peppermint oil a few at a time, and mix in between. Make sure the oil is evenly distributed in the sugar/coconut oil.
- Transfer from bowl to a glass container. I use a wide mouth pint jar, and it holds it perfectly! You could even use smaller containers, and break this batch up into a few small gifts!
Here’s your FREE gift tag!
It’s a good thing I’m not giving you a how to tie ribbon tutorial…Let’s just say I’m a little challenged in that department. I reckon I feel like if I make up for it in other areas, it’s ok to be a lousy ribbon tier. ha!
I can’t even believe it’s nearly Christmas! Every year I feel like I am pushing right up to the very last second with my gift giving, and making. Which makes me wonder, do you buy most of your gifts, or do you make as many as possible? I think there is nothing more thoughtful than a handcrafted holiday!
As always, thanks for spending just a tiny part of your day with me! Merry Christmas!
