Five Simple Ways to Use a Blanket Scarf in Your Décor

Be sure to snag up a blanket scarf the next time you see one because today I’m sharing five simple ways to use a blanket scarf in your décor!

I recently pulled out my blanket scarf to see how many different ways I could use it around the house. I came up with five ways to use a blanket scarf in your décor that were so simple, but SO cozy I knew I needed to share.

1. Draped over your table

So simple, but wow, what a statement! This idea came to me when I was carrying the scarf through the house to be put away. I got sidetracked, put the scarf on the table, and froze in my tracks. This one. is. my. favorite.

2. In a basket

I love a good basket strategically placed around the house. I especially love that basket stuffed with a cozy throw. Grab your blanket scarf, and drape it over any basket in any corner, and you’ve got instant coziness.

3. As a throw

Blanket scarves are big. Big enough to make a nice size throw for a cozy spot on the couch.

4. As a Garland

Twisting the scarf and making a “rope” with it turns it into a wonderful garland!

5. As a pillow cover

Tuck, flip, and fold…That’s all it took to make my very own DIY blanket scarf pillow cover!

Last year I found that blanket scarf in the dollar spot at Target. They had so many cute ones, I wish I would’ve bought one of all of them! Admittedly using it as a table cover has been my favorite so far.
