Easy and Delicious Homemade Granola
Homemade granola is a favorite snack around here, and today I thought I’d share my easy and delicious recipe.
Crunchy, deliciously sweet, and I can pronounce every single ingredient I put in it. Those are the things that make homemade granola a staple in my pantry. Granola is so versatile, you can literally throw anything in with it. This recipe is a good base for adding all of your favorite things!
I, personally, love eating my homemade granola at breakfast over top of some homemade yogurt, with a side of fruit. A lot of times, I’ll add in dried apples, or even fresh grapes to my bowl. Eating it with homemade yogurt is a good way to get in some extra probiotics, too! It’s a win-win!
Some of our favorite homemade granola add-ins
- chocolate chips
- chopped nuts, I love English walnuts in mine!
- dried fruit, apples and cranberries are a favorite here!
- extra spices, pumpkin pie spice, apple pie spice, or even more cinnamon!
I like to store this recipe as is, and add in the extras we like. Not all of us like the same things in ours, so this makes an excellent base to build on. I’m working on perfecting my peanut butter granola to share sometime soon…mmm, mmm, I love ANYTHING peanut butter!
