FREE Artwork+ Life Lately Update
Eli’s bathroom needed a little something to bring in some color. I scoured the free artwork archives, and found this beautiful vintage painting. Today, I’m sharing it with you, and giving an update on life here at the farm.
You all know I love a good bargain, and there’s fewer better bargains than FREE ARTWORK. A few years ago I discovered the free public archives, and utilized it frequently. A few years passed, and I forgot all about this incredible resource.
I was recently cleaning Eli’s bathroom and felt like it needed a little something special to bring in some color. I remembered the amazing art archive, and decided to give it a look. It didn’t let me down. I found this lovely lake painting, and edited a little in Light Room. I LOVE the way it turned out. It’s just the pop of color his bathroom needed.
I’ve added the free artwork to the Member’s Only Library for your printing pleasure. Not a member? No problem! Simply sign up below, and you’ll gain access to all of the printables I’ve created just for you!
Life Lately
I’ve had several emails and messages over the last few weeks checking in on us. I’ve been quiet on social media lately, and lots of you have noticed. Life has been busy. I found that I was spending too much time perusing social media outlets, and not enough time tending my children, homeschooling, and farming. By reducing the amount of time I spend on social media, I feel like I’ve created a much better balance at home.
All of that said, springtime is in full swing in the mountains, and I love it. Trees are blooming, wildflowers are popping up, and the grass is green. You can actually feel the new life surrounding you. It’s such an exciting time of year. I’ve been working on cleaning up garden beds, and planning where I’ll plant things. Lord willing in the next month I’ll be able to have plants in the ground, and I am so excited.
I have a couple of pretty big outside projects that I’m really looking forward to starting…one is digging a pond, and the other is moving the barn…yes, you read that right…moving our barn! It’s all part of a bigger plan, and I can’t wait to share that with you all one day soon.
I’ve still been minimizing and reducing our belongings inside. It’s really been such a life changer. I feel like I look at all areas of our lives differently, and all from just reducing our belongings. You can read a little bit more about our minimalism journey Why I’m Pursuing Minimalism + How It’s Going So Far, or hop on over to YouTube and listen to it.
Other than that, it’s been life as usual here at Sunshine Valley. The kids are growing, and time is flying. We’ve just been trying to make the best of all of it.
As always, thanks so much for spending a tiny part of your day with me! I hope you are all doing well.
Love your picture choice for his bathroom
Thank you so much!!
I sure do miss your sweet spirit in my stories on Instagram but I totally admire and respect you for putting that on the back burner while you tend to personal things. Thank you for having your blog so we can all keep in touch.
