My Favorite Design & Inspiration Books!

Good morning! Happy Tuesday. I hope you all had a marvelous Labor Day weekend. We (Nick and Eli) were able to get some much needed work done around the farm, and it felt SO good to get it done. Too bad it won’t last longer than a couple days!

Today I thought I’d share a few of my very favorite design and inspiration books. There’s really nothing I enjoy more in the evenings than snuggling in my favorite chair with a cup of peppermint tea, and a good book. These have been on my side table lately, and I have looked through them nearly a million times a piece.

This book from Mary Yoder over at White Cottage Company is my FAVORITE for all things DIY. It is FULL of so many good ideas using some thrifted finds, or inexpensive items from the dollar store. I love how simple she makes everything. If you’re interested in it, you can click here to view her Etsy shop. She’s also my favorite little shop to get candles!!

I just recently got this book off of Amazon and I LOVE how easy Myquillyn makes paring down your home seem. She talks to about letting a room breath, and I just love that so much. It has definitely inspired me to simplify my decor ever more than it already was. I also love how she talks about using what you have until you can afford what you really want. So inspiring!!

If you’re a home decor lover like myself then I’m positive you’re familiar with Liz Marie Galvan. This book is as good as it looks. It is FULL of inspiring decor, and tips and tricks to make your home more cozy. I love how she uses so much white, but still makes each space so warm and inviting.

Last, but certainly not least, is the infamous Home Body book by Joanna Gaines! Guys. This. Book. I’ve used it so much that the binding is wearing down, and the paper cover has seen better days. SO MUCH INSPIRATION.

I’d love to know what you’ve been reading lately. Now that Emmy is in a good bedtime routine I’ve had a little more time to get back into reading. I’ve enjoyed it so much!

As always, thanks so much for spending a little bit of your day with me!
