Simple Country Christmas Farmhouse Tour
Grab a cup of cocoa, and enjoy a virtual tour of our Simple Country Christmas Farmhouse. Just 3 days ’til Christmas!
This year I tried my best to achieve a Simple Country Christmas. The trees are bare, and for the most part, things were kept minimal. I always enjoy the garland on the staircase, the warm glow of the twinkling lights in the living room, and the cozy atmosphere in our home this time of year. It’s something I look forward to every fall when the weather starts to turn. There’s just something special about Christmas time on the homestead.
Earlier I shared our dining room decked out in it’s Christmas finery. If you missed that post, you can see it here. I had planned on sharing each room as I completed it, but I felt like doing a video would be a much easier way to share it with you. I hope you enjoy it.
Every Christmas, I start to reflect on the year behind us. The way winter seems to drag by, how even though February is the shortest month, it seems like the longest, the new life that comes with every spring, the speed at which summer seems to pass, and the excitement that fall brings with Holidays and extra family time…I know this year hasn’t been what ANY of us expected, but I am thankful every single day for the health, and well being of my family, friends, and you, my loyal readers. The Lord has blessed us abundantly this year with a new little “farmhand”. Something we never thought possible. We’ve enjoyed more time with our teenage son than we had hoped. Seeing him with his little sister has brought tears to my eyes several times throughout the year. Truly, this year has been such a gift.
Thank you for coming to my little slice of the internet, and helping me grow this simple little blog!
I am humbled, not just today, but every day that you come to my website, and you read the words that come jumbling out of my brain through my fingers. I don’t think I could ever express how grateful I am to each and every one of you for taking time out of your day to spend here with me.
Merry Christmas!
I love your home! I made your cold rise bread today. It is delicious!
Btw, I can’t see you on IG now.
Thank you so much, Valerie!
I decided late Saturday evening to disable my Instagram account for now. I just didn’t feel comfortable with all of the changes they made to their user agreement. Maybe one of these days I’ll be back!
I understand! You are missed but you have to do what’s right for you. Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas! Thank you so much for the beautiful card. It made my day when I got it. ❤️
